The Royal Oak Hotel is a former Victorian coaching inn set on the A5 route between London and Holyhead. Our rooms have been designed with the hotel’s historical heritage in mind and have all the facilities and comfort you would need, balancing both style and function.

At centre of the Betws-y-Coed overlooking the River Llugwy, visitors from all parts of the world come to village which is known as the Gateway to Snowdonia and easily accessible to all of North Wales’ wonders.

Each room is thoughtfully designed with attention to detail.  Offering free Wi-Fi, flat screen Tv’s with freeview, and local art work.

For special occasions choose to stay in one of our Deluxe Rooms – choose from feature Sleigh, French carved chateau or oak Four Posters. View the rooms galleries: Rooms Gallery 1 or Rooms Gallery 2

Some rooms are located  in our contemporary wing, an extension to the Royal Oak, designed to compliment the original building and enhance our facilities by offering lift access for the rooms within.
